What's on Your Wish List Linky Party and a Back to School Sale

I'm so sorry for the short hiatus from my blog lately.  I have been panicking getting ready for my first year teaching kindergarten!  I've been working feverishly on my classroom as well as pouring over curriculum and common core standards. I don't know if I've ever been this nervous excited over something in a long time. So keep following as I will document my kindergarten journey right here on this blog....the good, the bad, and hopefully not...the ugly!

There has been some fun this summer though :)

Now...if you're anything like me I know you love to shop for your classroom.

Join Collaboration Cuties by linking up with 2 of the top wish-listed products from YOUR TpT store and 1 product on your wish-list you JUST HAVE TO HAVE! *If you're not a blogger or TPTer, still feel free to comment with your most wish-listed item!

This is by far my most wishlisted item (almost 2,000 people have this on their wishlists...that's amazing)!  It's most definitely my top seller as well.  Here's the description from my TpT store:

I've always given my students reading records with no real knowledge if they actually read or understood what they read. So I created 5 different weekly reading records with comprehension activities for each day (see preview). I also included a rubric you can send home to parents to let them see how their child will be graded.

Another great use for Weekly Reading Records would be for Daily 5 or Literacy Centers. It's a quick response and with the included rubric, it's a perfect quick assessment that also keeps kids accountable.

There are  two versions of this reading record in this product. One version has a place for a parent's signature and minutes read if you are sending it home for reading logs. The other version is one you can use in class. The parent signature option is taken off and there is a place for pages read instead of minutes read.

Number 2 of my most wishlisted item is my Weekly Reading Records but this product has seven weeks and each week is grouped by a different strategy.  The weekly strategies include:
Making Connections
Determining Importance &

When I taught third grade far....were my favorite reading records to use in Literacy Centers, Daily 5, and homework. Click on the picture for more information at my TpT store.

Now this one was extremely difficult for me.  I know this may seem hard to believe but I have 817 items on my wish list!  A girl can dream....right???  The one I probably want the most and will have to get during this Back to School Sale is probably...

Click on the picture for more information.  There's soooo many more things I want....I could go on for pages.....but I won't.

Last but definitely not least....

Everything in my store is 20% off on Sunday and Monday and TpT will kick in another 8% if you type in the promo code:  BTS13
That's a WHOPPING 28% OFF!!!
Happy Shopping!
